What a great place! We (Husband/Wife and kids 17/12/4) camped here 2 nights at the recommendation of a friend - we will be back! Only problem was the not so friendly female ranger. I went to ask if we could move from our mid-row site to one that backs up to the ocean - she just kept saying, "its important to keep the site you signed up for" ok, but if the other sites aren't reserved she wouldn't have anything to do with it. Everyone friendly, bathrooms clean, warm showers, (50 cents will do it) close to town, very friendly camp hosts. Firewood is $8 a bundle. Kids loved the water. Rented boogy boards in town. We will be back!

An excellent park. From reservations to checking out, all employees were friendly. Rigs of all shapes and sized, much to do for the kids, easy beach access, great park. I can't say enough good things about it, we will absolutely be back. Restrooms were clean (they seemed to be in there cleaning each time I went to use the restroom or shower!) and the park spotless. Some sites a little close together or cramped, but there is ample space in most. We had beautiful weather to boot! Don't miss this park!!

Great park! Within an hour of our house, this was the perfect destination for our maiden voyage in our new 27 foot travel trailer! Campground was clean, employees friendly and knowledgeable, bathrooms had soap and shampoos in showers (son that that was very cool since he forgot them and didn't want to trek back to the trailer!) Had a sight right on the pond (I don't think it can be called a lake...not very big) but a very nice sight. Lots of permanent or very long term rigs, but all very nicely kept. Didn't see any of what some of you talk about in terms of undesireables or rough spots. This is a great family camp, indoor AND outdoor pools, 4 pool tables, big room for groups, volleyball court, shuffle board, this place had a lot to do for the kids and kept them busy. Nice drive east from 99 into the foothills. Everything nicely kept. We will absolutely go back!
